Ughh I have been obsessing over finding an artwork for months now which has a deformed man with no eyes, sitting slumped in a kitchen or something and being comforted by a woman. It’s one of my favorites but I lost the picture and name of artist etc on my old phone which died. If anyone sees this and knows the artwork and artist please do tell me for I will be forever grateful.

Aside from the stunning art direction, Blade Runner 2049 struck me as exceptionally non-CGI looking compared to most modern sci-fi/fantasy movies. So I wasn’t at all surprised to learn that, like the original film, 2049 used extensive miniatures to create its cityscapes. This very cool micro-doc shows some of the incredible work that went into building 2049’s dystopian future world.
i witnessed the most fascinating thing today imo…my 4th grade art class were talking while they did their work and one of them was like “if you work hard all your life…….it means NOTHING” and their response was to all crack up and start running with this bit like. “you work all your life on an oil painting. the mayor comes in. he says ‘i didn’t even ask you to do that painting.’” they kept going giving examples of nothing mattering and laughing hysterically. they’re 9. like, we think OUR humor is depressing or w/e, how are THEY going to be
Millennials are depressed but the Gen Z kids are straight up nihilists
Hands, are the most honest part of the human body, they cannot lie as laughing eyes and the mouth can.
